Meet Jess

It all started with a book suggestion from the internet. Picking up A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas brought me back to reading as an adult and catapulted me into the world of books. In 2023, I started our local chapter of Silent Book Club, eager (and slightly desperate) to meet others like me who loved the bookish life. Through my Silent Book Club community building, we found more opportunities to bring the book community together!

Books have changed my life for the better, and I hope to bring the same joy, happiness, and inclusion to others in our community! Find me on Instagram @library.of.scorpio !

  • weekly bookish events posting on our socials

  • movie showings

  • pop-up and vendor market coordination

  • event planning for bookish businesses and local authors

  • And hopefully soon in the future: reading retreats, out-of-town trips to visit book shops and meet authors
