Local Bookstores.

As our book community grows, there are plenty of book stores to check out!

  • Adventures Underground. Book and hobby store located in Uptown Shopping Center in Richland. They carry new and used books in all genres. They also host many different book clubs!

  • BAGG Books. Mobile romance bookstore. Check their socials for information about their next pop-up.

  • Barnes & Noble. Located at the mall in Kennewick.

  • Inkdrinkers Book Shop. Used book store opening a physical location in Downtown Kennewick in November! Focus on speculative fiction, sci-fi, horror, and thrillers.

  • A Lettered Home. Used bookstore located in West Richland. Accepts used books for donation or in-store credit.

  • Storytime Book Shop. Used bookstore in Downtown Kennewick with a focus on children’s books. Offers programming and story times for kiddos.

There are several amazing groups who support our bookish community in many ways! It’s worth checking them out to see how you can support literacy and book availability in our community:

Local book clubs.

Sometimes finding people who love books as much as you do makes all the difference! A few of the local groups who host book clubs and book centered events:

  • Silent Book Club. International organization with chapters around the world. Our local chapter meets several times a month at various locations around the Tri-Cities. They socialize for the first hour, then quietly read whatever they want for the second hour! Check out their bookclubs page here.

  • Mid-Columbia Libraries offers everything from book specific meetups to Bring Your Own Book events. Check out their website for a listing of events coming soon to the branch nearest you!

  • Richland Public Library hosts programming for all ages! Check out their events page for the next book club!
